A full experience. Excellent food and very good service. We really enjoyed it and still found it an expensive experience compared to the rest of San Sebastián.

Food is excellent esp the hake n the pigeon.Service is not commensurate with a fine dining setting. There were only 3 staff handling at least 32 customers simultaneously , even though the staff were capable, they were understaffed, we got one small dish of olive oil for our bread for six of us n it took long to arrive on the table. The space between tables was so little that our chairs were hit by the waiter/waitress a few times. A staggering booking arrangement for all these 32 clients would definitely give a 'Michelin' experience to the customers.

Basically perfect lunch. Shrimp, steak, fish cheeks, grilled hake, wine service…all spot on and well worth the price.

Wonderful restaurant setting and food courses. Very clever from the kitchen, although some more information about each course in writing on a menu would be really helpful. We had the top tasting menu with wines pairings. The sequencing and flow of each course either wines was slightly chaotic, suggesting the team may have been short staffed. Sommelier was very knowledgable and friendly. The ambience was somewhat spoilt as the dining space was not busy, but fully lit rather than being more softly lit. Although the sunset and then the view over San Sebastián was stunning, you are looking at a reflection of a half empty very white dining room in the glass windows! I’m sure with some thought this could be much improved

The mushroom and octopus dishes are really nice. The mink fish is a mast try, cooked really well! Steaks are ok, nothing too special. Service is good. The ingredients are top quality and good portion size. Really worth the visit.

As a "fish expert", I said, holding Parker full Shirley winery TORO ALBAL wine sucker, like a woman swordsman, practiced very well, drank very little. I not only walked in, but the only diner who ordered a full meal list, no care, I used a day of meals to get all. Probably the luckiest diners in San Sebastian Misan today. I just returned from Lyon shortly after, it was the new food movement) stronghold, advocated by French chef Paul Bocuse. Today this is a Spanish Misan, an important driving force for the new food movement, and it is in San Sebastian. Not all European cities deserve to be defined by "culture". San Sebastian and Wroclaw of Poland were named European Capital of Culture by the European Commission in 2016. In the 2016 Michelin Guide to Spain, there are only eight Samsung restaurants in Spain, three of which (Akelarre, Arzak, Martin Berasategui) are in San Sebastian. So San Sebastian is the de facto heart of Spanish Michelin. In 1989, Arzak restaurant picked the third Michelin star. The founder is Juan Mari, one of Spain's new gastronomic revolutions (the other is Pedro Subijana). Now, Juan Mari, a senior, has handed the restaurant to his daughter EIena. In 2012, Elena was named the best female chef in the world. She was also invited to the forum. I am honored to be a woman.
